Overview

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Banker to join a well-established community banking platform in the Milwaukee market. This opportunity is ideal for a relationship-driven lender who enjoys working directly with business owners, developing new relationships, and managing a high-quality commercial loan portfolio.

The Commercial Banker will focus primarily on C&I lending , with opportunities to work across commercial real estate and other business banking needs. The ideal candidate will have established ties to the Milwaukee market, strong credit fundamentals, and the ability to develop lasting relationships with clients and centers of influence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage commercial banking relationships throughout the Milwaukee market
• Originate new C&I and commercial real estate lending opportunities
• Build relationships with business owners, executives, and local centers of influence
• Manage and grow an existing portfolio of commercial relationships
• Evaluate credit opportunities and work closely with credit and underwriting teams
• Structure lending solutions based on each client's business and financial needs
• Maintain strong portfolio quality and proactively manage credit risk
• Represent the bank within the local business and professional community

Qualifications

• Commercial lending or business banking experience within a bank or credit union
• Strong understanding of C&I lending, commercial credit, and financial analysis
• Established relationships within the Milwaukee or Southeast Wisconsin market preferred
• Demonstrated ability to develop new business and maintain long-term client relationships
• Strong communication and relationship-management skills
• Sound credit judgment and understanding of risk management
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field preferred
