Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following:
Working with local groups to promote and sustain cooperative conservation interests and volunteerism
Assisting in the collection, entering and maintenance of natural resources monitoring data according to prescribed BLM and program standards
Utilizing Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Database Management Systems (i.e., Access, Excel)
Accomplishing field surveys and leading or assisting in providing on-the-job training to seasonal or other employees to accomplish natural resources inventory, and project implementation
Assisting in the preparation and review of environmental compliance documents
