Truck Driver - 1st ShiftEaton's ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Truck Driver - 1st Shift at our Troy, IL facility! The core hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times.The hourly rate for this position is $24.87 per hour, plus a $0.50 cent shift differential. Primary duties include picking up steel coils, completing local deliveries within the Troy and Highland areas, and managing additional pickup or delivery tasks as assigned. This position operates Truck Unit 20 and utilizes trailers, tarps, and straps to properly secure all loads.Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate delivery documentation, performing routine vehicle inspections, and adhering to all safety and compliance requirements. A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is required.In this function, you will:Pick up steel coils from suppliers and vendorsPerform local customer deliveries in the Troy and Highland areasComplete miscellaneous deliveries and pickups as neededQualifications:Basic Qualifications:A current CDL - Class ANo relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of Troy, IL will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
